All new accounts made on Orkut must be from Google’s Gmail email; make yours now and connect with the world.
Orkut is one of the largest social networks affiliated with Google. It was created to create new relationships, and friendships due to the great success of Microsoft bought it. Orkut conquered Brazilians; it is estimated that Brazil has more than 40 million users today. Because of this, in 2008, Orkut transferred its main headquarters, previously in the United States, to Brazil.
All new registrations made on Orkut have to be from Gmail email because the two accounts are linked; when you are on Orkut, you will also be on Gmail.
Create an account in Gmail
Gmail is a type of webmail; it is compatible with all browsers and was launched in February 2007; it has the advantages of being accessible, and the storage capacity is 15 GB or more. It also offers a chat with your contacts through Google Talk; if you have an Orkut account and don’t have one in Gmail, it’s easy because when you log in to Orkut, you automatically create a Gmail account.
It’s straightforward, go to Gmail, fill in all the required fields, such as first name, last name, desired login name, password, security question, an email for password recovery, location, date of birth and word verification. Then select the option I accept, create my account, and that’s it.

To enter Orkut through Gmail, enter the homepage, click on the create one now button, and fill in all the requested fields; at the end, accept if you agree and log in with your Gmail email.
Login to Orkut via mobile
Google has now enabled you to enter Orkut via your cell phone. The page is straightforward, and you can view your messages, list of updates and birthdays of the day. To enter Orkut by cell phone, type Orkut and enter your Gmail email and password as usual on the computer.
Now your Gmail address will be related to your Orkut account, and you will be able to access all the services offered by Google. So enter Orkut and connect with your friends.
